For the 2016 Arnold Classic, Rule 1 Proteins commissioned a spotlight animation to showcase their product range. With limited supplied assets and an open brief, the challenge was to create impact while placing one hero product above the rest. This led to the concept of a teaser-style video that built anticipation around the range.
By sourcing stock imagery and applying 2.5D visual effects, I crafted a dramatic tone, alternating between bold keywords and product reveals. Storyboarding and developing a 2D animatic were crucial steps in refining the experimental approach before moving into production. The final animation successfully delivered a striking showcase, while complementary booth graphics reinforced the campaign on-site.
