Following the success of 52 Reasons to Play on GP, Global Poker launched its sequel campaign in 2025: 52 More Reasons to Play on GP. The challenge was to create visuals that felt fresh and engaging while retaining the core identity of the original. Using Photoshop and Illustrator for initial concepts and Celtra for scaled production, I refreshed the design by inverting colours, applying texture, and adjusting the composition to distinguish it from the previous year. The playing card motif, typography, and overall layout remained consistent, while Meta’s updated portrait dimensions (1080x1350) allowed more creative real estate to emphasise the card-inspired aesthetic. The campaign logo echoed the original but added a handwritten “more” element, which was playful and spontaneous, mirroring the quirky tone of the 52 new reasons.
For the first time, the campaign was also supported by a promotional video created in After Effects. Storyboarding and peer feedback were essential to shaping the pacing, which needed to be fast and energetic to echo the intensity of poker while highlighting the excitement of 52 additional reasons to play. This video extended the campaign’s reach, complementing the refreshed static designs and ensuring the sequel felt both familiar and elevated compared to its predecessor.
