The Coors Block Party sought to provide awareness of the Coors brand as an international brand in a manner that aligned with their style. The event consisted of a street-basketball-style half-court competition during the day followed by an evening of live performances and entertainment. Thus the designs were heavily inspired by the street-basketball aesthetic without being too “street”.

The event involved both print, for all banners displayed at the event, and digital designs, for online marketing across social media platforms. Although limited assets were supplied, sufficient references and direction was provided throughout the short seven-day turnaround.

By utilising a combination of photographs and vector 90s graphics, a “throwback” aesthetic was achieved aligning with the desired design. The concept of utilising an isometric design for the industry invite was an opportunity to present a mock up of the event in a visually pleasing manner.
